cactus club cafe - north vancouver

case study

revitalizing and expanding the cactus club brand

To reimagine the original Cactus Club location in North Vancouver, preserving its heritage while introducing a fresh design identity that reflects its legacy as the brand's inaugural restaurant.

Pria Rajput led the consultancy with a focus on salvaging and celebrating elements of the existing interiors, integrating them seamlessly into the new design. This approach preserved the heritage of the original location while delivering a rejuvenated and distinctive concept. By collaborating closely with the client, Pria ensured that the design aligned with the brand’s identity and the expectations of its loyal customer base.

approach

As the lead design consultant, Pria Rajput and her team at BLD Design Firm curated three unique design concepts for this landmark location, ultimately presenting the paper doll concept as a defining vision. Inspired by the idea of elevated vintage style, this concept aimed to create a space that celebrates nostalgia while embracing modernity. The design bridges the restaurant's historical significance with contemporary sensibilities, creating an immersive and timeless dining experience.
