commercial  development office

edmonton, alberta

A hybrid workplace designed to operate on multiple levels at once. This project brings together executive offices, a boutique gym, an entertainment space, a signature Listening Lounge, and purpose-built meeting rooms within a single, cohesive interior. It is not a conventional corporate fit-out. It is a hospitality-forward, experience-led headquarters where every zone was developed to reflect the investment sophistication and market positioning of Amrik Developments, and to perform as a client-facing asset from the moment someone arrives.
From a developer's office to a flagship workspace that reflects the scale and ambition of the business operating inside it. Visitors encounter a space that communicates confidence and restraint before a single conversation happens. That ambient signal matters in a business where perception, trust, and relationship quality directly affect deal outcomes.

The design strategy focused on creating a workplace that felt refined, hospitality-forward, and commercially credible, while supporting the full range of daily operations across executive work, client hosting, team collaboration, and individual focus. The interior direction was developed around timeless luxury with restraint: materials and details that communicate quality without announcing themselves. Zenith was designed to attract the right clients, hold the right conversations, and reflect the long-term ambition of the business that calls it home.
  • Zoning was structured around five clear layers: arrival and brand, social and collaboration, executive and focused work, wellness and amenity, and back-of-house support
  • Circulation was planned so that client-facing and private work zones are clearly separated without creating friction in daily movement
  • The Listening Lounge was positioned at the stair arrival to maximize impact and set the emotional tone of the office before a guest reaches any other space
  • The boutique gym and change room were designed with acoustics, durability, and privacy in mind so wellness infrastructure functions properly rather than feeling like an afterthought
  • Materiality was developed around luxury, warmth, and restraint: timeless materials and controlled detailing rather than trend-led finishes that date quickly
  • The interior stair was redesigned as a signature architectural feature, with railing details, a feature wall, and lighting intent developed to anchor the spatial concept vertically across the building
  • Exterior design consultancy addressed curb appeal, entry sequencing, signage placement, and exterior lighting to ensure the building reads as premium before anyone enters
