PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Frida Taqueria is a custom hospitality restaurant design based in Edmonton, Alberta. From concept to creation, this fully curated interior design is based on an iconic Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo. Firda Hahlo is best known for her uncompromising and brilliantly coloured self-portraits that deal with themes such as identity. Thus, we incorporated an artistic twist of pastel colour art pieces and a curated feature wall to match her colourful self-portraits and give the restaurant a unique yet homey aesthetic. With the signature feature wall, this project did extremely well on social media such as Tiktok as many influences and customers would come here and share their photos with their friends and family. This interior design brilliantly mixes the beauty of nature and colours to create a strong brand identity.
